Welcome to the Learning Lab

The Learning Lab is a space for exploring ideas through stories, patterns, questions, and hands-on discovery.

Some days that looks like reading together and noticing connections between books, themes, history, science, and everyday life. Other days it looks like rockets, giant numbers, mazes, models, experiments, and visual explorations of how the world works. Sometimes it simply begins by stepping outside and paying attention to the season we’re living in.

This isn’t a curriculum or a collection of polished lessons.
It’s a growing record of curiosity in motion.

Inside the Learning Lab, you’ll find three main paths:

Field Journal

A seasonal record of what we’re noticing in the world around us. Through simple observations, nature notes, photos, questions, and small moments outdoors, the Field Journal follows the changing rhythms of the year and the patterns we notice along the way.

Mathmatillion Lab

A playful exploration space for math, science, scale, space, patterns, and big ideas. Through videos, visual projects, models, challenges, and creative experiments, the Mathmatillion Lab turns abstract concepts into something you can see, build, compare, and wonder about.

Read Along With Us

A growing record of the stories we’re reading together as a family. From picture books to chapter books, reading aloud is woven throughout our homeschool days. Each month, we share what we’ve been reading and some of the themes, ideas, connections, and curiosities that emerged along the way.

Whether we’re exploring tiny invisible particles, enormous galaxies, seasonal rhythms, or favorite stories, the goal is the same:
To slow down, notice more, and keep exploring together.
